A data logger is an electronic device that monitors environmental data through internal or external sensors, records and analyzes at desired frequency. Therefore, hundreds of different physical data can be retrieved, stored and processed with appropriate sensor integration using a data logger. As the number of channels increases, the price of the product increases rapidly. Such multiple measurement systems are used for R&D purposes in experimental sets or for measurement purposes in buildings and industrial facilities.
In this project, a microprocessor-based data logger was designed and produced. As the temperature sensor, DS18B20 is preferred because it has sheath and probe. It has a high sensitivity to read temperatures between -10°C-80°C with an accuracy of ±0.5º C.
