20 Channel Data Logger

It measures temperature coordinated from 20 channels, records it on the SD card, can be delayed in specified periods between 23 seconds and 10 minutes, can create an excel table by transferring instantaneous measurements to the computer. DS18B20 was preferred as the temperature sensor because it is sheathed and has a probe, can take measurements in wet environments, has a high sensitivity of reading temperatures between -10°C-80°C with ±0.5º C precision.

As a temperature sensor, DS18B20 was preferred because it is sheathed and has a probe. It has a high sensitivity of reading temperatures between -10°C-80°C with ±0.5º C sensitivity. In this design, PIC18F4550 microprocessor was used to process the data. 32kbit software was made and loaded onto this processor. In order to have an ergonomic design, USB type A was preferred as the data socket and each socket has a double design, thus ensuring that the product is smaller in size. In order to record each measurement moment in real time, DS3231 digital clock was used and the necessary software was made for its integration with the system. In order to ensure that the data is recorded regularly, the SD card module was added to the system and the necessary software was made. Therefore, data can be recorded using either SD or micro-SD cards. Each measurement period is written in one line and the data can be easily copied to Excel if desired. In addition, the necessary software and arrangements were made to instantly transfer data to an Excel table on the computer using a USB to TTL converter card.

Current Product:

The product must be protected from rain and water, otherwise the integrated circuit will fail over time or short circuit will occur.
The product should be powered from 5V USB only, other than that, the supply voltage will cause the integrated circuits to break down or burn.
The data logger reads the data from 20 channels at least every 23 seconds, but the measurement interval can be determined between 1-10 minutes with the SET delay button.
After pressing the set delay button, the delay interval is set by pressing the set clock and stop buttons, and the measurement is confirmed by pressing the sart button.
If the product time and date setting is not correct, the second indicator on the screen is frozen by pressing the set clock button, then the day tab is flashed by pressing the stop button. and when the desired day comes, it is confirmed by pressing the set delay command and the setting is continued in this way.
